Yesterday I came across this little gem of a video where Google employees ask random people in Times Square (New York) a simple question “what is a browser?” – only 8% were able to answer the question.

Normal People Aren’t Web Savvy
When you work with websites you often forget that the vast majority of your visitors are significantly less Internet savvy than you, and actually need clear calls to action to figure out what to do. The video very clearly demonstrate this, and reminds us that we live in our own little “Internet Marketing” universe, and that the real world doesn’t know or give a damn about what we do.
